More Snow Feb. 2003

Here are SEVERAL pictures of our "bit" of the snow! Will it ever melt??
Maybe I'll start a contest - and we can guess what date it will all be melted by???
My guess would be June 1. Hmmm...is that optimistic or pessimistic?? ho

Taylor on our snowpile next to driveway in front of house.

Carter climbing snow piles by driveway in front of house.

Our mailbox. Snow is about 3 ft. thick in front of it, from plowing. We didn't get mail today!

Taylor stopping for a picture!

Taylor and Carter

View of our driveway going down...

Taylor  climbing after Carter.

Carter playing in the snow.

Carter in the snow. He's actually in the front yard, but it's drifted so not as deep.

Taylor and snow covered mittens.

Madison - finally wearing her mittens!

Taylor in the snow. If you see in the front of picture - a little orange stick poking out of the snow, that's one of Todd's safety sticks he used to line the driveway.

Madison picking up snow.

Madison showing me her hat!

Steps to front door...I have to shovel our steps AGAIN....Where are they?

Looking up to driveway.

Birds in our birch tree, laughing at us as we try to walk in the snow.

This is one of our doors leading out to the deck. You can see how high the snow is on the glass. But look beyond, to the left, and you can see how high it really is. This is last night, Monday, 2/17.

Here is our table with umbrella last night (Monday, 2/17)

Our deck this morning. Snow is up to the railing. I can barely see the table anymore.

This is view from our kitchen door that goes out to deck. Snow is as high as our grill. Probably as high as my waist or chest.

Similar view as last night - out door to deck.

Looking from inside, out onto our deck from Living room.

From up high in our loft area (3rd fl.) - notice the ice in the gutters along edge of roof.

View looking down onto deck.

View out towards our neighbor's backyard, down over the hill.
Most mountains are not visible today.
